La Folie holiday accommodation, Dordogne, France
La Folie is a holiday cottage in the northern Dordogne, France. The cottage comprises a good size kitchen dining room with large antique oak farmhouse table and wood-burning open fire. The downstairs living room has access through French windows to a patio area, the rest of the garden and the parking area. Upstairs is a snug with an antique French day bed, TV/Video and books (please note: there is no TV reception - large collection of English videos only.). A raised landing leads to the bathroom and on to the bedrooms. The substantial main tie beam has been left in place unlike some conversions - see pictures.
Bedroom 1 has an antique French 3/4 double bed, Velux window and clothes storage area. Bedroom 2 has a full double bed, storage and a lovely shabby chic (the real thing!) repatriated antique French washstand. Plenty more clothes storage is available in the bathroom and the snug area.

We are close to the Limousin/Dordogne border just off the N21. Limoges airport (Bellegarde) is approx 40 minutes drive away.
